I learned the different types of energies and newtons laws. I learned how g-forces work and what the consequences are when you experience to many or to little. I also learned that the more potential energy you have at he start of your roller coaster the faster it will be. What I liked was the biulding process of our roller coaster and making different loops, corkscrews, camel humps and other different types roller coaster patterns. Something that I would improve would be to not put a camel hump after the big drop and instead I would put a loop to slow down the marble. I would also change the way our roller coaster is made and make it more interesting.

Physics project 2014-Blog Post #3
Are progress so far is going quite well we have finished our corkscrew after the first loop. However we are still having difficulty with the first camel hump because of to much inertia making it fly off the track, we are still trying to find a point on the slope were there is enough force for the marble to get over the camel hump but not too much making the marble fly of the track. Something that has been working really well is our first loop, slowing down the marble just enough for it to be able to go round the corkscrew.
